this is awesome,is there anyway that you could make this for windows xp
visual style just like you did for firefox.i love the colors,but would love to see the white color changed to a light shade of grey.

The coolest skin I’ve ever seen. This one is very unlike the other Firefox Vista skin which hasn’t any enchanted 3D buttons like this one.

By the way, for all of you who doesn’t know how to install it, here’s the
way :
1. Open it with WinRAR and extract the content somewhere
2. Find the file that has .jar extension and change the extension to .xpi by renaming it.
3. Open it with Firefox 2.0 and it will be installed automatically.

It should work. I dont think you have “show file extensions” enabled.

1. go to your control panel
2. Click “folder options”
3. Click veiw
4. Make sure the box next to “hide folder extentions” is UNCHECKED
5. Go back and change .jar to .xpi

I am working on an extension myself… though after installing this, I’m a bit discouraged.

also, If you want to use the icons for other things rename the .jar as .zip.

I converted the throbber to a .ani and am using it as my “busy” cursor. Its a lot better than the one I had before, more vibrant.

how to install:
1 In Firefox open Add-on window (Tools->Add-ons)
2 Drag the .jar file there (Vista-Black.jar)
3 It is Unsigned but it’s OK
4 Choose Use Theme
5 Restart Firefox

Excellent Firefox skin, I am using it on my Vista machine and it intergrates FF into the Aero theme really well. Thanks. If you, or someone else, could also adapt this for Thunderbird that would be terrific!
